Highland School of Massage

The school's courses, which are held in Inverness, (see Courses page for exact location), are taught by John and Kit Harling who run this school.

John and Kit's home base is Kingussie, in the Cairngorm area of the Scottish Highland and this is where they have their Body Repair shop (see Treatments page for more details)

Kit Harling DARM, DCA DIR, OSM, RGN

Kit is a qualified Advanced Remedial Thereapist, clinical Aromatherapist, Reflexologist,Hot Stone Therapist, and Indian Head Massage therapist, who practices in Kingussie.  She is also a retired Registered General Nurse.  As well as being the Prinicipal of Highland School of Massage, Kit is also a qualified Assessor and Tutor.  Kit teaches on Scottish Massage School's Swedish Massage, Remedial & Sports Massage, Advanced Remedial Massage, Reflexology courses. 

She also holds workshops throughout the year for continious professional development (CPD), first aid refreshers, and a special three day workshop on oncology massage.

John Harling DARM, OSM

John is an Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist who practices in Kingussie.  John is also a qualified assessor and he co-directs the activities of the Highland School of Massage. John deals with a variety of sports injuries in their Body Repair shop.

Both John and Kit are members of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation.
