:SWEDISH MASSAGE
Swedish Massage is a theraputic technique that uses a variety of manual movements all involving degrees of pressure. In moving muscles and soft tissues, deposits of potential toxins are broken down and cleared as the circulation of blood and lymph is stimulated. Massage also has an effect on the nervous system which ususlly brings a feeling of well-being.

:SPORTS MASSAGE
Massage can minimise the risk of injury.
Massage prepares muscles for work.
Massage minimises stiffness and soreness.
In the event of injury - Massage can help the muscles recover quicker.
PRE-EVENT or POST-EVENT
Massage warms and relaxes, or tones and stimulates depending on the technique used.

:AROMATHERAPY
Aromatherapy is the use of Essential Oils for the treatment of various ailments, or for relaxation. Aromatherapy is a truly holistic therapy aiming to treat the whole person, and not just "the ailment".
Essential Oils can help with healing, relaxation and be used in a base oil in Massage. Oils can also be used in creams and lotions.

:REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a therapy based on the belief that the body's natural healing mechanisms can be enhanced by the application of pressure to certain areas of the feet or hands. These reflex points correspond to all parts of the body.

:INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
An extremely effective treatment which has evolved from traditional techniques practiced in India as part of family ritual. The treatment is non-invasive and is used over the upper back, shoulders, upper-arms and face as well as the head.
Indian Head Massage works well as part of a stress management programme. The original techniques have been developed to suit western ideals and include massage to areas that are most vulnerable to stress and tension.

:REIKI
An ancient Japanese form of healing. Reiki means 'Universal Life Energy'. It is a natural and simple method of hands on healing which transfers energy from the giver to the receiver.
Reiki is a powerful and concentrated form of energy which flows through the hands of the practitioner.

:ON-SITE MASSAGE
Often called 'Corporate or Chair Masage' is of particular benefit to the business community. The massage is done fully clothed on a special chair using shiatzu type moves.
The therapist goes in to the workplace to do the massage which takes about 20 minutes. It has been shown to help workers cope with the stresses of work and various changes in shift pattern.
It is of particular benefit to those workers sitting at desks, or in front of screens and keyboards.
